Customer Owned Material (COM)

We love a good collaboration. You bring the fabric, we bring the craftsmanship. To keep your projects flawless and fabulous, follow the guidelines below.

COM Guidelines

To ensure that your C.O.M. orders are processed and produced properly, please review the following important information carefully.

Vogel by Chervin reserves the right to evaluate all C.O.M. received. Acceptance of C.O.M. fabric is at the discretion of our cutting department and management. C.O.M. fabrics deemed less than ideal and/or unsuitable for upholstery may be refused and/or additional charges may be incurred. You will be contacted in advance of cutting should either of these situations occur.

What We Need from You:

    1. Company Name (in addition to your customer's tag name if desired)

    2. Corresponding Purchase Order Number

    3. Quantity

    4. Style Number

    1. Always make sure we have your PO details before sending your COM to our factory

    2. Never send the original purchase order with your COM; these need to be sent via email to our head office, in advance of forwarding your COM

  • On your original purchase order, please include the following info for COM orders:

    1. Fabric supplier (e.g., JF Fabrics, Robert Allen)

    2. Pattern name/number

    3. Color name/number

    1. All COM orders must indicate the direction of the material (railroaded or up the roll)

    2. Indicate correct facing side of COM

    3. Additional special instructions we should be aware of before cutting

  • All C.O.M. is to be sent to our factory prepaid. Unused/excess C.O.M. will be returned with orders only when requested on/with your original purchase orders.
